Human resources and equal opportunities professionals play a key role in preventing and managing harassment in the workplace. They are the ones who create the framework for a safe and fair environment, ensuring that employees are aware of the risks, their rights and internal reporting mechanisms.
This course provides participants with the tools they need to identify inappropriate behaviour, respond effectively to harassment situations and develop effective internal policies and initiatives, aligned with both national legislation and the international standards set out in the International Convention on the Elimination of Harassment and Violence at Work, adopted by the International Labour Organization. Participants will learn how to communicate this information to employees, provide support to victims and actively contribute to a culture based on respect.

We will start by defining an organizational culture based on respect, identifying factors that, if neglected, can normalize harassing behaviors. The course includes case studies and examples of good practices to prevent these slippages.
We explore what harassment in the workplace means according to national legislation and international standards established by the International Labor Organization. Participants will learn to recognize and manage such situations, having at their disposal applicable resources in their own organizations.
At the end, participants receive free access to the course materials and the “Wellbeing in, Harassment out” guide, to support informative sessions in their own organizations.

As an HR professional, I have attended several trainings, but this course stands out for its clarity, applicability and depth of approach. It helped me to understand concretely how to transform anti-harassment policies into a real tool for supporting employees. Not only did I leave with clear solutions and examples, but I also felt a genuine support for the role we have in shaping an organizational culture based on respect.
The workshop provided me with exactly the framework I needed to understand how to address harassment systemically, not just reactively. I learned how to incorporate international standards into internal policies, but also how to create a climate of trust for reporting. The case studies were very useful - real, complex and discussed with great empathy. An essential course for any HR professional who takes their responsibility to protect people seriously.
It was clear to me from the beginning that this course was different - it focused on prevention and the power of example. I learned how to effectively communicate with teams about what constitutes inappropriate behavior without coming across as authoritarian or distant. Together with the guide I received at the end, the course gave me a solid foundation to organize my own awareness sessions in the company. It increased my confidence in my role.
Participating in this course equipped me not only with information, but also with a new perspective: we cannot build healthy organizations if we do not normalize the reaction to harassment. I appreciated that it was not just theory - everything was connected to the reality in companies and the challenges we face daily as HR people. I now feel that I have the right tools to create safer and more respectful workplaces.
