2. We collect information that the User provides to us voluntarily. For example, we collect personal information, which the user provides to us by registering with our Services; when you access our Services through third party services, such as Facebook or Google; when you send or upload such personal information, when you use one of our services; and/or when you contact us directly.

Third-party cookies:

The www.aleg-romania.eu site also acts as an intermediary for third-party cookies, used to provide additional services and features to visitors and to improve the use of the site itself, such as social media buttons, media or videos. This site has no control over third-party cookies, which are operated entirely by third parties. Consequently, information on the use of these cookies and their purposes, as well as on how to deactivate them is provided directly by third parties, in the pages indicated below.

In particular, this site uses cookies from the following third parties:

Google Analytics: a Google analytics tool, which by using cookies (high-performance cookies) collects anonymous browsing data (IP truncated to the last byte) exclusively for the purpose of examining the use of the site by users, compiling reports on activities on the site and the provision of other information, including the number of visitors and pages visited. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties process the aforementioned information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. Data transmitted to Google is stored on Google servers in the United States. Based on a specific agreement with Google, which is designated responsible for data processing, it undertakes to process the data based on the requests of the data controller (see at the bottom of the information) provided by the software settings. Based on these settings, advertising and data sharing options are turned off.

More information about Google Analytics cookies can be found on the Google Analytics cookies usage page.

8. COMMUNICATIONS

By subscribing to our Services (newsletters, blogs, social media accounts or public events) and providing your email address or other contact information (such as phone number or social media nickname), the User expressly agrees to receive offers from A.L.E.G through promotional content, messages or calls from the organisation or its partners.

If the User no longer wishes to receive these types of offers, he/she may notify A.L.E.G at any time or follow the unsubscribe or termination instructions contained in the promotional communications received, or by sending an email to contact@aleg-romania.eu

9. ACCESS TO THE PERSONAL INFORMATION OF THE USER

The user has the right, at any time, to request from A.L.E.G access to the data provided up to that point and make changes or deletions.

The application procedure can take place by e-mail at contact@aleg-romania.eu

The response to these requests will take place within the periods considered reasonable and in accordance with EU Regulation 679/2016.

10. STORAGE OF DATA

The user’s personal information is kept for as long as the user account is active or, where necessary, for the provision of services.

We may continue to retain this personal information even after you deactivate your user account and / or stop using any particular service, subject to legal obligations and, in any case, no later than 12 months. In addition, we may resolve disputes regarding our Users, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with signed contracts and / or protect our legitimate interests.

11. SECURITY

A.L.E.G has implemented security measures to protect the personal information shared by the user, including physical, electronic and procedural measures.

Below are the security measures adopted:

– Secure HTTPS access to the service areas provided

– During the transmission of sensitive payment information (for example, credit card number) there is an encrypted connection, as it is redirected to the third party site that has security certifications for the payment system in use (eupay, mobilpay, paypal, xpay etc.)

To prevent possible cyber-attacks, systems are regularly monitored, and vulnerabilities are constantly raised by improving the security of services provided and the security of visitor and user data.

However, regardless of the measures and efforts implemented by A.L.E.G, it is not possible to guarantee the absolute protection and security of the user’s personal information or other user content uploaded, published or shared with A.L.E.G.

For this reason, we invite registered users to set complex passwords that are therefore difficult to decrypt on their behalf and to avoid the transmission of sensitive information whose disclosure could cause substantial or irreparable damage. Moreover, because some areas of our Services are less secure than others (for example, setting a “public” instead of a “private” request in the support forum or if you are browsing a non-SSL page) and because emails and instant messaging are not recognized as a secure form of communication, we encourage the User not to share any personal information in any of these areas or by any of these methods. For any questions regarding the security of our Services, please contact us at contact@aleg-romania.eu

12. TERMS OF USE, UPDATES AND INTERPRETATION

Your use of any of our Services and any disputes arising therefrom are subject to this Privacy Policy, as well as the Terms of Use and all its general provisions, including disclaimer of warranty, limitation of liability and indemnification.

This Privacy Policy, its interpretation and any relevant claims and disputes will be governed, interpreted and applied to all effects only and exclusively in accordance with EU Regulation 679/2016 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016.

Any complaint regarding one or more issues must be submitted by the interested party to the reference supervisory authority.

The user is invited to periodically reread this Policy for any updates regarding our privacy practices.

These updates are intended to reflect changes in our practices of collecting, using and storing information. If we make a change that we consider “substantial”, we will notify the customer by e-mail before the change takes effect.

13. DATA CONTROLLER

The data controller, in accordance with current laws, is the public relations specialist of A.L.E.G, a person who can be contacted at contact@aleg-romania.eu.
