To come to work with joy and stay healthy, employees need to feel respected and valued. The relationship between equal opportunities, healthy collaboration, and well-being is essential in a balanced work environment. Human resources professionals play a key role not only in developing internal procedures, but also in shaping an inclusive organizational culture, managing relationships between employees and management teams, and ensuring the implementation of fair policies.
In this course, we will explore with human resources professionals the most common biases that undermine equal opportunities and solutions to overcome them, step by step. It is not about becoming “political correctness police”, but about building a culture of respect, based on the principle “What you don’t like, don’t do to others.”

For courses held physically in Sibiu, Alba-Iulia, Brașov, Cluj-Napoca and Timișoara counties, additional costs for transportation and fees apply.
Failure to attend the course does not entail the obligation of A.L.E.G. to reimburse costs or reschedule the session.
We will start by defining equal opportunities, because it is often confused with erasing differences between people. In fact, stereotypes are what produce uniformity (e.g. all men are aggressive, women are profiteers), so it is useful to learn to surprise ourselves and how to patiently correct our own prejudices. The course will provide practical strategies, as well as opportunities to practice the reactions we would like to have.
We will explore the concrete impact of equal opportunities on teams and organizations. For example, companies that promote a fair and inclusive environment rarely face internal conflicts, absenteeism or staff turnover, and employees are more motivated and involved. In addition, preventing discrimination and harassment reduces legal risks and strengthens the company’s reputation.
At the end, participants receive free access to the course materials and the “Wellbeing in, Harassment out” guide, to support information sessions in their own organization.

The course gave me exactly the context I needed to understand how seemingly trivial biases can impact the well-being of teams. The discussions and practical exercises gave me the courage to address inclusion issues more clearly and to support my colleagues in an empathetic and authentic way. It was a truly transformative experience.
We realized how important it is to create a space where every employee feels valued, not just accepted. The course challenged us to look beyond the clichés and learn how we can act without being intrusive. We left with concrete solutions and a better understanding of the connection between equality, motivation and wellbeing.
I liked that this course didn't just give us a set of definitions, but actively involved us in understanding the phenomenon. Through real examples and a safe atmosphere of dialogue, we were able to look honestly at our own automatisms and learn how to support colleagues in a way that really matters. Very useful and immediately applicable
I've attended many HR trainings, but this one was by far the most empathetic and realistic. It helped me connect the notion of 'equal opportunity' with concrete and simple actions that can influence the overall atmosphere in the organization. In addition, I also left with ideas for team-building activities that support inclusion without feeling forced.
