Workplace bullying can often seem subtle, but its effects only become visible when they are already too deep-rooted. When we witness or are directly affected by inappropriate behavior, our reactions can range – from fear and confusion, to shame or even tacit acceptance. Sometimes jokes or comments that are considered “harmless” become part of daily routine, and such remarks about a colleague’s physical appearance or personal life can go unnoticed, even though they create a climate of discomfort. Even when presented as a joke, such behaviors can negatively affect the workplace atmosphere and may constitute harassment.
This course helps participants identify bullying behaviors and understand how to respond appropriately if they encounter such situations. They will gain skills to feel confident in managing these difficult times and to actively contribute to creating a respectful and safe work environment for themselves and their colleagues.

Learn how to contribute to a respectful and safe workplace. We will discuss how to identify harassment and (gender-based) violence in the workplace and what steps we can take when we encounter such situations – whether we are directly involved or observe harassing behaviors in colleagues. Through case studies and practical examples, we will explore concrete steps to address these issues and build a more equitable and healthy work environment.
At the end, participants will receive free access to the “Employee Guide: How to Recognize and Respond to Workplace Harassment.”

This course was a real eye-opener. Working in a predominantly male environment, I had normalized over time all kinds of remarks and attitudes that were, in fact, forms of harassment. I left the course with more courage and the necessary tools to react firmly but balanced. I recommend that any employee attend.
I initially attended this course at the initiative of HR and I admit that I was skeptical. I never imagined that some “jokes between colleagues” could create a toxic climate. The course helped me understand where the line is between a friendly remark and a form of harassment. I was surprised by how well the examples were constructed and how useful it was to discuss freely, without being judged. Now I am more careful about what I say and how I react when I observe inappropriate behavior.
I really liked the trainer's balanced approach - without judgment, but also without diminishing the seriousness of the topic. The atmosphere was safe and respectful, and the real-life examples made the course very relevant. I learned how to recognize micro-aggressions and especially how to support a colleague who is experiencing harassment. It was more than a course - it was an exercise in empathy and responsibility.
