A.L.E.G. organizes Yoga Courses addressed to girls and women from Sibiu<\/strong>. These classes are meant to create a space where they can meet, interact and build a supportive community, which is important for combating isolation, promoting solidarity between women and increasing body confidence.<\/span><\/p>\n

Breathing techniques, mobility exercises and other techniques to reduce stress and anxiety are practiced during a Yoga session. Meetings take place 3 times a week and are led by Tetiana Kolot, certified Hatha Yoga instructor, and are open to women over the age of 16.<\/span><\/p>\n

Access is free<\/strong> and open to participants of various nationalities who have a basic knowledge of English, but it is essential that participants register in advance HERE<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The sessions are organized recurrently, 3 times a week<\/strong>, in Sibiu. They take place on the following days:

In Romania, one in three women is a victim of domestic violence and, in addition to the abuses suffered, they also struggle with isolation and the feeling of loneliness. We want to build a community where advocacy and access to accurate information come first. That’s why we bring together both victims and overcomers of violence, with other women who can be their support.<\/span><\/p>\n
